Ruby on Rails Developer(s) [Jul 10]

We have an immediate need for a Sr Ruby on Rails developer and a QA engineer in downtown Chicago. Despite the recent economic downtown, the company is very profitable and growing. We are looking for a top-quality, expert programmer with good design sense and the desire to get things done. The product is a consumer-facing web 2.0 web app that is currently generating a lot of buzz. The team is high-caliber and believes strongly in keeping up to speed with latest open source tools. There is plenty of upside and room to grow in the position.

Qualifications:

1. 1+ years of Ruby on Rails experience with 3+ years of web development
2. Experience with web 2.0 technologies such as XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
3. Experience with scaling a web application using Amazon S3, EC2, Passenger Phusion, or equivalent
4. Use of testing frameworks like RSpec
5. Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

This is a FULL TIME onsite position only. Principals only please and no contractors.
